LEGAL GRAPHICS:
RICH, RELEVANT, PERSUASIVE

Graphics are not an accessory: Good graphics are material to your trial effort—good graphics embody your case—they don’t just decorate it.  They must be simple enough to be easily understood, but rich enough to be engaging and rewarding to look at closely.

Creating images like this requires skill.  So we have built a team of veterans with years of experience, combined with talented newcomers (with lower bill rates).  It’s the right formula to bring you the good judgment and technical skill it takes to do this job well.

AND ANIMATION

Not every case calls for it, but when you do need it, there’s no substitute for 3D modeling and animation. 3D models can suggest complexity without overwhelming, and show the relationships between objects with a precision and power that surpasses ordinary pictures.

Yet, these sophisticated tools can be managed and presented as part of an ordinary PowerPoint deck.  We have been designing and producing such exhibits since their infancy 25 years ago—and they are still one of the best tools available to lawyers trying complex cases.

DATA VISUALIZATION

DATA VISUALIZATION:
GRAPHING IS CRITICAL

Somewhere in the haystack of data churned up in a complex case there lies a sharp needle or two. Finding them, and helping shape them into useful tools for judge and jury is the best contribution your graphics consultant can make.

While it's a truism that juries hate math, we’ve also observed time and again that juries love stories they understand, and graphics that look like proof. Quantitative material shouldn’t be seen as a challenge, but rather as an opportunity to show that kind of proof.

TUTORIALS

TEACH THE TECHNOLOGY
AND TAKE THE LEAD

Why we think teaching the Court is so important:  A judge’s first understanding of difficult material can be durable, and might be his or her final take on the matter. The party who explains more simply, can gain an advantage with mediator, judge or jury. A technical tutorial can be a crucial step in gaining that strategic advantage.

Some judges hold hearings at which experts testify and answer questions from the bench.  Other judges prefer a piece of media they can review and study on their own time, like a DVD or an interactive e-brief. Unlike most courtroom events, a submission can be carefully crafted to present only the messages and evidence you want to showcase.
