Dan Winter is a creative consultant with 40 years’ experience in developing winning presentations for business, science and litigation. He is skilled in theme development, video and multi-media producing, as well as computer illustration and presentation delivery. As a writer, his credits include scripts for video and interactive briefs, opening statements and speeches. He has lectured nationally on applying creative methods to trial presentation and the use of technology in preparing for and presenting in court. Allison LaFramboise is a senior consultant and account executive who is an established leader in the litigation consulting business. She brings hard-won experience in every aspect of delivering consulting services, since taking an entry level position at Litigation Sciences (LSI) in her first job after college. She worked her way up to senior communication consultant and manager of a national practice at FTI Consulting. She has a rich knowledge of every manner of litigation, and developed a specialty in communication consulting for patent, commercial and product liability disputes. Allison is responsible for leading major engagements, developing client relationships and ensuring delivery of the highest quality service in every engagement. Michael Thomas is a multi-talented design and technology consultant with 20 years’ experience in digital video production, direction and sound editing, and interactive media. He is a veteran producer of sophisticated tutorial presentations and submissions for the court, and has a flair for telling a compelling story. Michael holds a BFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a masters from the School of the Art Institute where he also teaches. He is co-founder and director of Lucky Pierre, an internationally acclaimed performance art ensemble, whose work has been presented across the US and Europe. Michael Thomas is located in Chicago.
Wendy Beaver is general manager in charge of client services for Chicago Winter Company. Her experience includes managing units of a nonprofit organization and municipal government. Wendy began her career as a US Foreign Service officer, and served overseas as Vice Consul in Naples and Florence, Italy. She led programs and managed large projects during tours in Washington, DC at the State Department and USIA. Wendy is located in Chicago.
Carly graduated with high honors in biology from CU-Boulder in May 2013 and has quickly proven to be an invaluable and tireless worker. Fresh from the rigors of honors research on ant navigation with a presentation at the Entomological Society of America scheduled in November 2015, she analyzes and graphs large datasets to create powerful demonstrative exhibits. She recently guest-lectured a Boston University MBA economics class on the subject of graphing quantitative data. Carly embodies Chicago Winter’s new model of high energy competence at a lower bill rate to give clients the value the new marketplace demands. Carly Winter is located in Portland, OR.
Kolin Pope is an illustrator, animator, writer and recent graduate of NPR’s Transom Story Workshop (listen to his radio pieces at http://kolinpope.com/radio). He has done 3D modeling and animation for all manner of cases, concerning issues varying from compact ice crushers, to electrical components, refrigerator compressors, jet engine parts, athletic body armor and a transforming brain with Alzheimer’s disease. Kolin has worked on some of our most imaginative presentations, synthesizing complex systems into easy-to-understand images. Kolin Pope is located in Eugene, OR.

Meryl is an attorney with trial experience in commercial and criminal litigation. As account executive, she exercises her impressive client service skills, litigation knowledge and her familiarity with the Chicago law community. After completing undergraduate work at Sarah Lawrence and Harvard Colleges, Meryl received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She moved to the Midwest, first practicing at Winston & Strawn, and most recently at Jenner & Block. Meryl is a great communicator with a genius for what works - in business and in relationships. Jennifer Coimbra graduated with honors in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado in 2013. She worked at the Assembly for Sustainability and Equity as marketing director during her junior and senior years at Boulder. She completed an undergraduate honors thesis—Fracking and Federalism: Analyzing Produced Water in Colorado, Texas and Federal Entities. After graduation, Jenni joined the IP firm Clark & Elbing as a legal assistant, where she was introduced to the rigors of the patent prosecution process—good preparation for the litigation world. Jenni joined Chicago Winter Company in April 2015 and has since gained impressive experience developing graphics for all manner of business lawsuits.
Jenni grew up internationally, attending schools in Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Mexico, Great Britain and the US. She is now settled down in Chicago.

Kent Bell is a multi-discipline artist, designer and illustrator whose career began with a formal art education at Indiana University's Hope School of Fine Arts. Turning complex and difficult-to-grasp issues into the clear and obvious is his forte. After finding the litigation world in the late 1990's, he quickly established himself as a war room specialist, where he has brought his affinity for detailed yet clean and to-the-point demonstratives into courtrooms all around the country. Kent is located in Los Angeles, CA.
Alex Rosen is a litigation technology consultant who advises clients on the most effective means for presenting evidence in court. He works with them every step of the way, providing experienced, unflappable technical support in the courtroom. While Alex is an excellent technician, his contribution goes further, encompassing broader aspects of effective media presentation at trial. Mr. Rosen completed studies in interactive communication at Boston University, and has been working in various forms of multimedia production since 1992. His work in digital media continued with projects for National Geographic and other clients, through the advent of interactive advertising in the 1990s. He began working in the litigation field in 2002. Alex is a nationally-respected business leader and is much in demand as a speaker and CLE instructor on trial technology and trial presentation. He is also an award winning barbeque chef! Alex is located in Charleston, SC.
